Unless you involve partners, your personal credit will be associated with your new business if you're trying to secure some type of financing through most banks, or if singing a lease. One way to possibly avoid your credit becoming a hinderance is to find grant money, loans, and aids through the government sources. In some cases, you can secure a loan for start-up money, working capital, etc. if you've been denied by a bank. Check out www.sba.gov. Also, you might want to speak with an SBA counselor free of charge for suggestions.

Once your business is established (3 years or more), and provided you've done things to give your business it's own credit history (get EIN, open bank accts in business name, etc.), your business will have credit independent of yours. Good luck
